before you move.

Your purchase

My Moving Buddy is planned as a free download that holds up to 30 items. One optional in-app purchase, Moving Buddy Full (US$4.99 in the US; local prices vary), removes that limit for good. There is no subscription. The App Store shows the price in your region before purchase, and Apple handles payment and refund requests. Items you’ve already saved stay viewable, searchable and exportable whether or not you buy it. Use Restore purchase in Settings on a new device.

App licence

The app is licensed under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains the product; it does not replace that agreement or limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Check what Buddy suggests

AI suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. Review item names, counts, categories and other details before relying on them. Device, operating system, language, model availability and photo quality affect results. Manual entry is available without AI.

Keep your own backup

You remain responsible for keeping copies of records you need. Use a full .movingbuddy backup for restoration; spreadsheets, PDFs and photo ZIPs are separate reports. Restoring a backup replaces the inventory currently in the app.

Optional services and permissions

Some features need camera, photo, microphone, speech or location access. You can decline access and use other features. If you configure a compatible server, you are responsible for that server, its availability and its handling of content. My Moving Buddy does not supply that service.

What this app does

My Moving Buddy helps record and find personal belongings. It is not a valuation service, insurance policy, proof of ownership, or guarantee that belongings will arrive safely.
